1970s HOLMES or NORTON 112 Dollhouse Miniature ANTIQUE SHOP Building
1970s NORTON 1:12 Dollhouse Miniature ANTIQUE SHOP Building. Up for sale is a FABULOUS hand crafted New England'barn conversion' country style "Antique Shop". Notice the attention to every detail - the two bay windows on the front,'rough barn' style siding on exterior and the cedar shingle roof. To open the hinged front, you release the latch on the right side. Inside is amazing - a built-in staircase leads to barn-framed rafters. There is also a built-in counter and shelves. It is electrified to show off the rustic atmosphere. The color is very much'cedar' color, with a very rich coloration - the color got a little washed out in some of the photos. Above the door is a "date" sign by George Schlosser. There is also a magnet attached to the right side of the top window for hanging a shop sign (sign not included). SIZE: Approximately 16 3/4" H x 13 1/4" W (to widest points of roof) x 11 D (including the bay windows and rood overhang). The top of the vertical wood side of that window is just a touch damaged and will need some minor TLC, once the glass is placed back in, to keep the glass tight and in place. This diorama was packed full of miniatures even up into the rafters!

As a result, the interior need a lot of cleaning up - there is wax everywhere and a few things may still be stuck on the walls. It will take some TLC to get the interior cleaned up. There is some wax and dirt on the glass which also would benefit from a gentle cleaning. PLEASE SCAN DOWN FOR MORE PHOTOS as they are a material part of the description.
